Jeremy Kagan

Jeremy Kagan


Pricing Engine Founder and CEO Jeremy Kagan is a Professor of Digital Marketing at Columbia Business School, advises internet startups on strategy and marketing, and is a corporate trainer for leading companies and advertising agencies in all areas of digital marketing. Kagan worked at Sony Music Entertainment in the Global Digital Business, where he was the Vice President of Global Account Management, working with large partners such as Nokia and Sony Ericsson. Before this, as Vice President/Director of Strategy and Customer Insight for Publicis Modem, a leading digital advertising agency, Kagan headed research and innovation out of the New York office, in addition to his client work. He managed custom and primary research efforts for clients, and incorporated innovative, measurable strategies into client planning. In addition, he developed resources and strategic positioning for promising emerging technologies to ensure a measurable impact on the bottom line for even the most cutting edge approaches to marketing. Prior to Publicis Modem, Kagan was a consultant with IBM, working in the strategy & change practice for media and entertainment companies like Disney, Cox Communications and the New York Times Company.

Kagan received his MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania College of Arts and Sciences. He holds an email technology patent.

Yagmur Coker

Yagmur Coker


Pricing Engine Co-Founder and CTO Yagmur Coker was recently the Lead Technologist at The Knot Inc. where he created and managed multiple projects involving databases, websites, mobile applications and public APIs. He created the R&D department, and developed projects like iPhone applications with over a million downloads and very high usage, and a GroupOn-like group buying solution, WeddingChannel Deals, which successfully launched in the summer of 2010. Coker was previously a Solutions Architect at a Microsoft Gold Partner, crafting solutions for businesses around New York. Prior to that he was a senior engineer with Redcats, a PPR holding company that owns LaRedoute, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, PUMA among others where he developed multilingual e-commerce sites.

In early 2000, he architected and developed the TransitChek program for Transit Center to provide employees of companies who joined their benefit program, pretax commute option in the tri-state area. Coker spent a few great years in Silicon Valley at USWeb (aka marchFIRST) where he worked on high profile projects such as designing American Airlines miles reward programs, SEGA.com, 3COM-MediaEase (e-learning), San Francisco International Airport website, Pricewaterhouse Coopers corporate/intranet website and more.
